Flor Minor (Queretaro 1961). Studies at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving “La Esmeralda” (1978-1980). She started an investigation about the use of non-conventional materials and supports in visual arts creation at the Center for Research and Visual Art Experimentation of the National Institute of Fine Arts, being a founding member of the Neographic Workshop conducted by maestro Oliverio Hinojosa.

Among the main early but persistent interests in Flor Minor’s work are: the location of the line in space, the relationship between geometric elements and the human body, making the two-dimensional plane evident by means of lines and strokes in the space that creates the illusion of figures with volume and perspective, treating the human body in the Renaissance way as an artistic form of representing that leads to knowledge, analyze the attitudes of man in the city, among other characteristics. This neoclassical way of representing allowed Flor Minor to distinguish itself and develop from the beginning with high visual quality and expressive force.
